System Administrator for the Community Planning Department

At the Community Planning Department, approximately 200 people work with the task of making Sigtuna Municipality an attractive, lively, and safe place to live and work. We plan new residential and business areas. We design and build streets and utilities for water and sewage. We take care of parks, forests, schoolyards, preschool yards, and playgrounds. We work with traffic issues, parking supervision, waste management, and much more. We handle regulatory enforcement, exercise supervision and control, and issue permits within our areas. We invest in our employees through good resources for competence development as well as joint activities. Sigtuna Municipality is an expanding municipality with extensive housing construction, many business establishments, and investments in the public space.
The Staff Department at the Community Planning Department is responsible for the overarching support and management processes, as well as the municipality's information systems (GIS) with mapping services. The department consists of two units: the Quality and Business Support Unit and the Geodata Unit.
This position is located at the Quality and Business Support Unit, which is responsible for the department's overarching planning and follow-up work, quality development, digitalization and system administration, information management, communication, administration, contract and procurement issues, as well as registry and committee administration.

Job Description
The role of System Administrator is varied and broad. You will have the opportunity to lead and develop our digital systems, e-services, and platforms. You will play a key role in ensuring that the business units' systems function as support to the operations and that these are developed in the right direction. There is a strong focus on system administration, digitalization, and secure information management.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Needs assessment and ensuring that systems support the business units' needs.
- Contributing to or leading work on digitalization and business/system development.
- Coordinating, creating, and revising the Community Planning Department's system administrator plan, including contract follow-up and licenses.
- Serving as the contact person and having dialogue with and between the business units, the municipality's digitalization and IT unit, and suppliers.
- Ensuring that information is handled correctly and securely (GDPR, IHP, Klassa).
- Contributing to procurements, for example by creating requirement specifications.
- Participating in risk analysis work.
- Further developing and administering processes and routines, ensuring documentation and that any instructions and routines are in place.
- Maintaining environmental scanning within the area.
- Conducting or coordinating training as needed.
You will work closely with managers and employees in the business units, the digitalization and IT unit, suppliers, and your colleagues at the Quality and Business Support Unit.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
- A university degree in a relevant field (or another level of experience that the employer deems equivalent).
- Documented experience in IT administration, system implementation, and system development.
- Experience with GDPR and information security.
- Good Swedish language skills, both written and spoken.
The following qualifications are meritorious:
- Experience as a manager or sub-project leader.
- Experience with procurement and requirement specifications.
