Your Mission
You will belong to a unit that develops and delivers access and exploitation capabilities, and conducts collection operations. The team around you consists of skilled hackers from various backgrounds with diverse experiences. Together, you will tackle complex problems, goals, and tasks. The result of your efforts will deliver direct operational value to our clients.
The role's main responsibilities include:
- Collection of stored signals (network collection).
- Test and develop access methods (exploits).
- Build and develop own tools.
- Deliver material as a basis for outgoing reporting.
- Work in close dialogue with our analysts.
- Competence development and method development.
Your Qualifications
Requirements:
- Several years of work experience in IT security, for example as a penetration tester, developer, or system administrator.
- An academic degree in computer science or equivalent knowledge acquired in another way.
- Deep and broad knowledge of IT security.
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing in Swedish and English.

- Access establishment

- Linux Internals
- Windows Internals
- Networking
- Active Directory
- Exploit development
- Exfiltration methods
- Covert lateral movement
- Bypassing antivirus and EDR
- C2 frameworks
- Web application security / Web application hacking
- Reverse engineering
- SOC or IT forensics
We consider it a prerequisite that you have had a solid and genuine interest in IT security for many years. That said, no one is an expert in everything, so do not let that stop you from applying even if you only identify with some of the points above. More Information
The workplace is located near Drottningholm, approx. 10 minutes from Brommaplan. Swedish citizenship is a requirement as employment at FRA involves placement in a security class. Before an employment, you will be security vetted in accordance with the provisions of the Security Protection Act. Employment entails an obligation to be war-placed.
