The Unit for Digital Development

Here, you will have a key role in driving digital development and turning generative AI into concrete benefits for operations, employees, and residents.

We are now looking for a Business Developer with strong drive and interest in AI, change management, and business development – someone who wants to contribute to creating a more efficient and value-creating way of working across the entire municipality.

At the IT Development Unit, we work closely with operations to create a functional interaction between IT, digitalization, and business development. We support the municipality's various departments with project management, methodology, steering, and development initiatives.

You will become part of the IT and Digitalization Department, which is responsible for strategic IT issues as well as services within development, administration, support, and infrastructure. The department consists of 24 employees distributed across three units.

Your Assignment

As a Business Developer in AI and digital transformation, you will work both strategically and operationally to support the municipality's operations in their digital development.

You will become an important advisor and enabler in the work with generative AI and digital innovation. The role involves identifying operational needs, translating environmental scanning into concrete initiatives, and contributing to long-term strategic decisions.

You will, among other things:

• Drive and support digitalization initiatives with a focus on generative AI
• Ensure that AI solutions meet requirements for ethics and regulatory compliance
• Act as an advisor to operations and IT on issues related to AI and digital development
• Work with needs analysis, requirement gathering, and client support
• Lead and support change management and business development
• Develop common ways of working, processes, and steering models for digital transformation
• Identify opportunities for efficiency and quality improvements
• Gather and analyze environmental insights within AI and digitalization
• Inspire and support managers and employees in development initiatives
• Build and develop good collaborations throughout the municipality

You act as a bridge between operations and IT and play a central role in creating sustainable and operation-oriented solutions.

Your Experience

• At least 5 years of professional experience as a Business Developer, Senior Project Manager, Change Manager, or a similar role deemed equivalent by the employer.
• You have a relevant academic degree in Systems Science, Computer Science, or equivalent (minimum 180 higher education credits) or equivalent competence deemed by the employer, combined with several years of relevant professional experience for the position.
• Experience in digitalization where you have practical experience applying AI tools for business development.
• Good knowledge of information security, GDPR, and the AI Act.
• Very good ability to document and communicate your work in a pedagogical manner in speech and writing in Swedish.
• Very good ability to see and work for the whole picture, understand and explain complex contexts and processes.
• Experience in concretizing ideas and needs analysis, as well as environmental scanning.

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability, such as being engaged, non-hierarchical, and service-oriented. Furthermore, we look for someone with strong initiative, independence, and problem-solving skills. You can establish and maintain good relationships with both clients and providers within the municipality. You want to work in a profession that is constantly changing with varying tasks, both independently and in a group.
