Do you want to build the digital strategy and platform of the future? As an Infrastructure Architect with us, you play a key role in shaping the technical foundation for a more efficient and accessible healthcare and social care system.
About the role
You will work in a modern, agile organization where collaboration and innovation are at the center. As an Infrastructure Architect, you help set the direction for our technical platform – from overarching architecture to concrete solutions in everyday work. You work closely with development teams and business units to:
- design robust, scalable, and secure architectural solutions
- translate business needs into technical requirements
- guide teams in technical choices and implementation
- ensure that architectural principles and guidelines are followed
You will have significant influence over our platform – a central building block for digital services that make a real difference for patients, healthcare staff, and society at large.
You belong to the Product Leadership unit, which is part of the Platform Development section.
The Product Leadership unit includes leading roles in our agile network organization, such as agile roles within the SAFe framework (PM, RTE, PO, and SA). Additionally, domain and solution architects are available as close collaboration partners to address the needs of the platform tribe.
The section is responsible for developing and creating shared components that are used across business areas and/or other departments. The focus is on delivering services through self-service and enabling complete CI/CD flows for the organization's products.
The Digital Strategy and Platform department is responsible for the agency's shared technical platform, shared capabilities, and services. The domain covers areas such as container platforms, identity and access management, API management and integrations, continuous delivery (CI/CD), observability, and digital signatures.
About you
We are looking for someone with strong collaboration skills who thrives when working with others. It is natural for you to take responsibility for your own work, and you adapt easily to the situation at hand. You have a strategic approach to work but can also dive into details when necessary, seamlessly switching between a holistic and a detailed perspective. We also value strong analytical skills and the ability to see long-term, sustainable solutions in complex contexts. Furthermore, you are proactive in initiating activities to achieve set goals.
We are looking for someone who has:
- an academic degree in IT or equivalent work experience
- several years of experience in infrastructure and platform architecture
- current experience in developing technical architectural solutions and integration architecture
- current experience with Kubernetes and container-based environments
- excellent communication skills in Swedish and English
The following qualifications are meritorious for the role:
- experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Helm, Ansible)
- background in software development or system design
- experience from healthcare or other regulated industries
- experience with GitOps and tools such as ArgoCD or Flux
