Do you want a key technical responsibility in a Linux and platform environment where you not only work with operations, but also help shape how the platform is developed, managed, and automated over time?

We are now looking for a Senior Linux Specialist who wants to take clear ownership of parts of the infrastructure and actively contribute to both the technical direction and the development of working methods within Linux, Kubernetes, and automation.

About the role

As a Senior Linux Specialist within Kubernetes & Automation, you play a central role in the management and further development of a Linux-based platform with high demands for stability, security, and longevity. You work close to the infrastructure, but also close to decisions, improvement initiatives, and technical choices. The role involves significant personal responsibility and a clear mandate to influence both technical solutions and how the work is conducted.

You are expected to function as a technical reference person in the team and contribute to structure, quality, and maturity in both the platform and processes. The work is carried out in close collaboration with developers, operations, security, and other technical functions.

In the role of Senior Linux Specialist, you are responsible for, among other things:

• Take technical responsibility for the operation, management, and further development of Linux-based infrastructure
• Be responsible for and further develop Kubernetes environments from a stability, security, and lifecycle perspective
• Develop, standardize, and improve automation and configuration management
• Establish and further develop working methods regarding Infrastructure as Code and Git-based flows
• Contribute to and drive technical improvement and modernization initiatives
• Work proactively with troubleshooting, capacity planning, and stabilization of platform environments
• Support the team with technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and best practices
• Collaborate cross-functionally and contribute to clear interfaces between operations, development, and the platform

Is this you?

To succeed in the role, you have extensive experience with Linux and have worked for several years in environments where stable operations, structure, and quality are crucial. You are confident in Kubernetes and have practical experience with automation and configuration management, for example with Ansible, Terraform, or similar tools. You have worked according to Git-based methods and are accustomed to taking responsibility for technical solutions over time.

You have a good overall view of the platform and infrastructure and thrive in a role where you are expected to take initiative, make technical decisions, and contribute to the development of both technology and working methods. You work in a structured manner, are analytical, and have a high awareness of quality.

Experience with monitoring and observability tools, scripting, cloud services, Windows environments, or networking is seen as meritorious, but the focus is on your ability to take technical responsibility and drive development.
