About the role
Here, you have great opportunities to influence, lead, and contribute to the development of our future operations. As a Solution Architect, you work in a central role within the IT organization, supporting the maintenance of existing systems and participating in the development of new systems and IT solutions by engaging in both projects and operational assignments.
We are looking for a Solution Architect who will work with, among other things, the management of structural data and power system models.
Examples of responsibilities include:
- Leading and driving the creation of IT solutions correctly based on needs assessment and the conditions of existing IT services within the organization.
- Responsible for the design of applications and integrations in accordance with Svenska Kraftnät’s target architecture, architectural principles, IT security architecture, and guidelines regarding standards. The Solution Architect ensures that the technical solution complies with the requirements defined by the Domain Architect.
- Acting as an expert for one or more IT systems/applications in technical discussions with the unit manager, operations manager, and domain architect.
- Contributing to the development of target architecture and supporting the establishment of operations.
As a Solution Architect, you belong to a unit currently consisting of 12 colleagues, including IT specialists, domain architects, operations managers, and system and application owners.
You will collaborate with engaged colleagues and be part of the Nordic and European ecosystem on the journey towards the future Svenska Kraftnät.
About you
Requirements:
We are looking for someone who has the ability to translate technical solutions into clear and relevant business language. You work in a structured and solution-oriented manner in good collaboration with colleagues. You have the ability to handle and solve complex problems without losing the long-term perspective, and you plan and organize your work well. As a person, you are stable and reliable, meet deadlines, and complete what you start. We place great importance on your personal qualities.

You have a university degree in a technical field we consider relevant for the position, or equivalent competence acquired in another way. You also have:
- Comprehensive knowledge of IT and technology, as well as specializations such as infrastructure, integrations, data modeling, or service orientation.
- Ability to translate business architecture into sustainable technical solutions, including profitability assessments.
- Several years of relevant work experience working with IT solution architecture in accordance with established architecture methods, tools, and processes.
- Work experience in defining and delivering IT solutions and architecture-related issues based on strategy, business processes, and business requirements.
- Understanding of the development process, development tools, development frameworks, and third-party products.
- Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English.
It is an advantage if you have:
- Experience from a large organization with society-critical and complex operations, as well as experience from the energy sector.
- Experience with integration and infrastructure issues.
- Certification in IT architecture.
- Modeling experience of processes in EA tools, such as Sparx EA.
- General knowledge of the CIM standard.

- The position is located in Sundbyberg/Stockholm.
- Opportunity for remote work up to 50% (#LI-hybrid).
- Travel may occur in this position.
