About the Workplace

Trullstugu Parent Cooperative was established in 1993 and operates a small, cozy preschool in Våmhus. Our operations are led by an engaged board consisting of member families and our principal/preschool director. We have a general pedagogical approach where nature is a central part of the children's daily lives. The proximity to the forest and sports field offers great opportunities for outdoor activities, motor development, and play. In the forest, we also have our own hut where storytelling pedagogy and imagination can thrive.

The staff currently consists of one preschool teacher, three childcare assistants, and a combined position for administrative assistant and cleaning. We are now looking for a new employee who wants to become an important part of our operations.

Responsibilities

As a childcare assistant here, you will work together with the principal and other staff to:

• plan, implement, and develop the pedagogical activities,
• document and evaluate work according to current guidelines and curriculum,
• create a safe, learning, and inspiring environment for the children,
• work based on the preschool's value base and professional conduct,
• contribute to good cooperation in a small team,
• use nature and the outdoor environment as a natural part of daily pedagogy.

The position is 50% and you will primarily work afternoons.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a preschool setting.
• Knowledge of the Swedish preschool curriculum and the preschool's mission.

We are looking for someone who is confident in their role, engaged, responsive, and loves working with children. You enjoy working both indoors and outdoors, and see nature's possibilities as a strength in pedagogical work.

Personal qualities are highly valued.

A certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record) is required.
