Job Responsibilities

Create safety, structure, participation, and a predictable daily life, as well as provide support in activities, communication, and social participation.

Qualifications

Basic requirements for the position:

• Experience working within disability care as a personal assistant, care assistant, or support assistant.
• You have good knowledge of autism, intellectual disability (ID), and other neuropsychiatric disabilities (NPD).
• Good oral and written skills in Swedish.
• Category B driver's license.

Personal qualities:

To succeed in this role, you need to be a secure and stable person who can build trusting relationships. You are clear in your communication, work in a structured manner, and have the ability to plan and organize your work independently. Furthermore, you have a calm and professional approach, even in situations that require flexibility and good judgment.

Meritorious qualifications:

• Education in healthcare and social services, child and youth care, or similar.
• Experience in alternative and augmentative communication (AAC), low-affective handling, pedagogy, or healthcare and social services. We also view positively experience with using cognitive aids and working with individuals with autism and intellectual disability.
