I am a 17-year-old boy living with my family about a few miles from Smedjebacken. My life also includes our dogs and cats, whom I enjoy having around me. During the day, I go to school, and in my free time, I like to be active and exercise.

I have a congenital brain injury that means I need support in all parts of my daily life. You will be an important part of my life – from morning to night – helping me with transfers, meals, personal care, exercise, and various activities.

I communicate through sounds and facial expressions. Since I cannot speak and am blind, it is important that you are curious and willing to learn how to understand me specifically.

We are looking for someone who is secure, responsible, and has a positive attitude. You need to be able to take initiative and contribute to making my days good and full of content. The work is performed both independently and together with colleagues, depending on the situation.

About the position

• Fixed schedule, approx. 80%
• The work takes place at home, at school, and during activities

• Capable of physically active work
• Non-smoker
• Tolerant of pets (dogs and cats live in the home)
• Enjoy being in water and spending time outdoors
• Have a B driver's license (meritorious, not a requirement)
• Preferably have experience in personal assistance (1–2 years is a plus)
