Personal Assistant for a Young Woman in Nås

Omtanken Assistans provides personal assistance to individuals with disabilities who have been approved for support under LSS or SFB. About the Role

You will be working with a young woman living in a spacious apartment in Nås. She also has cats, so you must not be allergic to them.

Besides her love for animals, she enjoys baking and cooking. It would be a great plus if you share these interests!

You will accompany her on various activities such as playing bingo, helping out in the garden, going for walks, and running errands together.

Your regular duties include assisting with personal hygiene, toilet visits, and turning in bed. While the apartment is well-equipped with assistive devices, the role does involve physical tasks, so you must be free from any physical limitations.

Since the client owns a car and enjoys going out for activities, a valid driver’s license is required.

Background Check Requirement

If hired, you will be required to provide an extract from the Swedish Criminal Record Register. The requirements differ depending on whether the work involves children or adults:

• Working with children: Work with children with disabilities is subject to background checks according to the Act (2010:479) on register control for personnel providing certain services to children with disabilities. An extract from the criminal record register must be submitted as the final step in the recruitment process before employment can commence.
• Working with elderly or adults with disabilities: Home care work is subject to background checks according to the Act (2026:43) on register control for work in homes for elderly persons or adults with disabilities. The act applies from March 1, 2026. As a company, we have a policy to request an extract from the criminal record register upon hiring. The background check is conducted as the final step in the recruitment process and forms part of our overall suitability assessment.
