You will

• process and investigate cases regarding children/youth and their families' need for support and protection based on current legislation following an application or report
• work with authority decisions requiring legal certainty, a common approach, and equal assessments
• process cases according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Law on Care of Young Persons (LVU), follow up on assessed support measures, and contribute to utilizing the family's own resources and solutions
• strive to ensure that the individuals we meet receive the help and support they need to live as independent a life as possible based on their own conditions
• be involved in the development of how Vansbro Municipality will work with the new Social Services Act.

You must have

• a degree in Social Work or intend to graduate this year.
• good documentation skills
• good knowledge of current legislation
• good ability to express yourself fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• a valid B driver's license.

A valid extract from the Swedish Police Authority's criminal record must be presented prior to employment.

It is an advantage if you also have

• experience working with BBIC, Signs of Safety, MI, ADAD, and Treserva
• experience working with people in vulnerable situations.
