WORK RESPONSIBILITIES
The social sector in Säter Municipality is participating in the EU project Reviva together with the Dalarna municipalities of Falun, Borlänge, and Gagnef. The project aims to increase healthy attendance among employees. The overarching goal is to identify, test, and evaluate working methods and models that contribute to increased healthy attendance and strengthen long-term competence supply. The project is driven, reported on, and coordinated by the Falun Borlänge region, but the majority of the work is carried out by project staff in each respective municipality. The project is an important activity to achieve the Social Committee's goal of reducing sick leave rates among employees.
As the current project manager is taking on a new project in the municipality, we are looking for her successor.
Are you a driven project manager who enjoys tough challenges and has previously worked in the welfare sector? Do you have experience leading managers and colleagues towards new insights? Do you have the ability to translate goals and visions into activities and enjoy working both strategically and operationally? If you answer yes to these questions, you may be the one we are looking for.
The project is now in the implementation phase, where the focus is on translating the project plan into concrete actions. The immediate priority is the implementation of the "Friskfaktorlabbet" (Well-being Factor Lab) from Suntarbetsliv, which the sector has decided to carry out.
The responsibilities also include:
- planning, coordinating, and following up on the project's activities,
- responsible for the project's documentation, follow-up, and reporting,
- analyzing key figures and producing decision-making materials,
- planning and leading workshops, dialogue meetings, and development initiatives,
- supporting managers in the work of developing sustainable workplaces,
- being the face of the sector in the project and presenting the project's results.
The position is located in the sector's support staff at the Town Hall in Säter, and the direct manager is the Sector Manager. Internally, the collaboration involves the sector's 5 operational managers and 15 unit managers. External contacts consist of central project managers in the Falun Borlänge region and other project participants.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who have experience leading comprehensive projects with varying perspectives. It is an advantage if you have knowledge or experience from the project's focus area and experience in project management or other development work in public operations. If you have also worked with EU-funded projects, it is an extra plus. As you will be responsible for the web-based sickness and wellness service and use this service as a tool in the work to achieve the committee's goal of reduced sick leave rates in the sector, it is desirable that you have experience working with similar tools.
In your role, you are result-oriented and driven, while also being curious and receptive to the needs that arise among other key persons in the project. You have a relevant university degree or other competence that we assess as equivalent based on your combined experience. You express yourself comfortably in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and you have a good ability to communicate with different target groups. You have a genuine commitment to societal issues, human development, and thrive in contexts where you can make a real difference. In the project manager role, you also need to have strong drive, be resilient, and be prepared for the conditions to change quickly.
Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 6 months or longer.
The position is a project employment with immediate start (or as agreed) until August 31, 2028.
We have rolling selection, so do not wait with your application!
