As one of our experienced employees has moved on to a leading position within the municipality, we are now looking for a replacement who wants to continue developing our work for children and young people. Here, you will become part of an experienced and engaged work group with broad competence within social work. We work in close collaboration between different functions, where investigative social secretaries, foster home secretaries, and the child's social secretary together create security and long-term stability for the children and young people who come into contact with us.

Job Responsibilities

As an investigator, you are responsible for processing cases according to the Social Services Act and the Care of Young Persons Act (LVU). You conduct child welfare investigations, make protection assessments, follow up on measures, and make decisions within the framework of delegation.

The work involves meeting children, young people, and their networks in both acute and planned situations, as well as collaborating with internal and external actors to ensure that the child's best interests are always at the center. We work based on Signs of Safety.

You work independently and are responsible for moving your cases forward, while also being part of a close and supportive team. The role requires confidence in exercising authority, the ability to make decisions according to delegation, and the ability to handle complex situations with both professionalism and empathy.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a degree in Social Work. You have good knowledge of social work, and experience in exercising authority is an advantage. You express yourself well in speech and writing, have a B driving license, and it is an advantage if you have worked in Treserva.

As a person, you are secure and professional in your approach. You have good cooperation skills while being able to work independently and structured. The work requires flexibility, responsibility, and a genuine commitment to children and young people. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
