Job Description
Do you want to be part of creating vital change for vulnerable people? Then the position of Treatment Pedagogue at SiS is a meaningful challenge. As a Treatment Pedagogue, you work in a team together with treatment assistants and treatment coordinators. Together, you are responsible for ensuring that the young people and clients living with us receive the safety, care, and treatment they need.
With the support of your knowledge in care and treatment work, you actively contribute to the implementation of treatment plans. Documentation is an important part of your work, contributing to legal certainty, planning, and follow-up of our operations. You help maintain safety according to our routines and contribute to daily life running smoothly with school attendance, cleaning, cooking, and more.
Department Karlsvik is a discharge-preparatory department located in Höör and is a branch of SiS Youth Home Hässleholm. The department focuses on young people in the discharge phase who are not assessed as needing care in locked facilities.
As a new employee, a mandatory introduction week is included before you start working at the department. The training alternates between theory and guided introduction, equipping you for the treatment role in SiS operations.

Requirements:
- Minimum a 2-year post-secondary education from a folk high school or university college (KY/YH) or other equivalent education. The education should be focused on social work, social pedagogy, behavioral science, or another relevant subject area.

- Experience working with our target group (e.g., addiction care, youth care, young girls, etc.).
- Valid B-driver's license.
- Good command of Swedish, both spoken and written.
- We require seeing certificates and/or diplomas before employment, and you must attach these to your application.
Personal Attributes

Employment
The position is a hourly-based employment where we require that you can work at least three shifts per month. Start date by agreement.
Application
We contact applicants via email and also by phone. Keep an eye on your inbox, but also check your spam folder as emails sometimes end up there.
