A young man with autism and a developmental disability, but without mobility impairments, is seeking a full-time personal assistant. The role involves providing structure and support in all daily activities.

The user communicates using pictures and signs and understands spoken Swedish. At the beginning of the employment, you will receive guidance to learn how to understand his alternative communication methods. You will also receive training regarding the user's disability.

In addition to communication, your duties will include assistance with hygiene and household chores such as cooking and cleaning. The user has his own accommodation. Each day, you will accompany him on various outings. You often travel using public transport, but also in the user's car, where you, as the assistant, will be the driver. Walks and short bicycle rides are other possible activities.

We are looking for you who have a stable and cheerful personality. You need to be the one who balances the days and creates a harmonious and active daily life. It is important that you have the ability to remain fearless and secure during emotional outbursts that may occur.

You will work independently. Qualified supervision is offered on an ongoing basis. After an introductory period with side-by-side guidance and increasing hours, we can offer a position of 80–100%. We always start with shorter employment periods, but the possibility of long-term employment exists. The schedule includes both day and evening/night shifts with sleeping on-call duty (08:00–16:00 and 16:00–08:00). Weekend shifts also occur.

As an employee, you are covered by a collective agreement via Fremia.
