RESPONSIBILITIES
You will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and offering pedagogical support to our residents. By helping them to be involved in their lives, make their own choices, and be motivated to an active life in society, you make a difference every day. Working as a support assistant with us means dynamic and challenging work where every day offers new opportunities to grow and develop.
To succeed in this role, you need to have a natural ability to communicate pedagogically and collaborate effectively with colleagues, other professions, and the residents' networks. As a support assistant, your main task is to, in consultation with the user and with the support of a coordinating support pedagogue, plan and design individually adapted support, service, and care. The goal is for the user to be able to live like others, with the individual's own wishes and interests and good living conditions. Here, the role of support assistant involves constant development, and we expect you to be engaged in both your professional role and the development of the operations.
We expect you to work professionally and humbly with a user focus, and that you can create good structure and context for our users together with your colleagues. You are creative and dare to challenge both yourself and your colleagues to new ways of thinking. Care tasks occur, which gives you a varied and meaningful workday.
In the role of support assistant, you work days, evenings, and weekends, which gives you the opportunity to be part of the users' lives at different times of the day and truly make a difference.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who have completed the Child and Youth Program with a focus on social work or pedagogical work, alternatively the Care and Nursing Program with specialization in disability, or other education that the employer considers equivalent.
You should have experience and knowledge of the LSS Act (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) and its intentions, as well as experience working with people covered by the LSS and their specific needs for special measures.
Experience in clarifying pedagogy, aging within LSS, and other experience from a service profession is meritorious. We consider it natural that you have experience with a low-affective approach and attitude.
You have personal qualities such as initiative, problem-solving, and an open mind. We also see that you have a high degree of self-awareness and understand your own strengths and areas for development in meetings with other people. You find it easy to collaborate and interact with others.
Employment type: Permanent employment.
We report the salary for the 10th and 90th percentile: 30,000–34,000 SEK/month. The salary interval is stated in accordance with current regulations on salary transparency.
