RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of a substitute caregiver, you relieve the person who normally provides the main care for an individual with a disability in their home or immediate environment. You visit the person at their home and assist with tasks that the relative would otherwise perform. The timing and scope of the assignment may vary, ranging from a few hours to more extensive periods. Shifts can be scheduled on weekdays, evenings, and weekends, depending on the needs of the relatives. This assignment is ideal for someone looking for an additional social role alongside studies or other work.

The assignment focuses on providing support to a child through substitute care services. The child requires some assistance with mobility, practice in social interaction, and support in developing their communication skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

The work requires you to be sensitive and engaged. You must be able to work independently but also enjoy collaborating with guardians who are in close proximity to the child. We are looking for someone who is professional, confident, and enjoys working with people. The work may also involve assisting with care and supporting the follow-up of implementation plans.

Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a requirement, as is experience working with children.

It is an advantage if you have education in pedagogy or behavioral science. Experience with clarifying pedagogy or Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) is desirable but not mandatory.

Substitute care services are offered as hourly employment (PAN employment).

The assignment covers 20 hours/month, scheduled for afternoons and evenings.

Employment type: Fixed-term employment.

Salary range: 160–185 SEK per hour. The salary range is stated in accordance with current regulations on wage transparency.
