About the workplace

In the city, the Social Services Department is responsible for individual and family care. Our mission is to enable residents to become independent in life so that they can take an active part in society.

At the Social Services Department in Helsingborg, we operate based on the Signs of Safety approach. All social secretaries, therapists, administrative staff, HR, finance, and political leadership are trained in this approach. This means you will become part of an organization where network work, participation, and a clear focus on the people we meet permeate all change work with families.

We work together with the individual's own resources and networks to create sustainable and long-term changes.

Job Responsibilities

As a therapist, you work practically and closely with families in their daily lives, primarily in their homes and other environments where support is most beneficial. The interventions can involve both change work and compensatory support, with a focus on finding working solutions together with the family based on their needs and conditions. You will become part of the team Support in Daily Life, which is part of the youth team, but where the work covers both young people and families with younger children. Together with colleagues, you contribute to flexible and close support that strengthens the family's own resources and creates sustainable solutions.

Qualifications

• Social pedagogue or other education assessed by the employer as equivalent
• Good documentation habits
• Category B driver's license and experience driving a car
