Personal Assistant for 7-Year-Old Boy Outside Malmö

About the Position

We are looking for hourly substitutes who wish to work as personal assistants for a 7-year-old boy living just outside Malmö. The shifts are scheduled during the day and evening, seven days a week.

As a personal assistant, you will help and support the boy in all aspects of daily life. Duties include, but are not limited to, personal care, meals (in the form of tube feeding), training, play, communication, and other daily activities. A key part of the job is also providing active supervision throughout the day.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is calm, secure, sensitive, and patient. You must have the ability to read and understand, including non-verbal communication, and create a safe and positive environment for the child.

Desirable Experience

• Experience working in personal assistance or with children with disabilities.
• Experience with assistive devices, training, and acting as a communication aid.
• Experience with tube feeding.

Lifting heavy objects may occur, so you need to be in good physical shape.

Other Requirements

Since the client is a minor, you must be able to present a valid extract from the criminal record register for work with children with disabilities before employment.
