About the role
Our unit consists of 9 case workers who investigate cases according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act on Support and Service for Certain Persons with Functional Impairments (LSS). Our employees have broad competence, years of experience, and a professional approach. As a case worker, you will meet people who, due to disabilities, need support and help to have a good everyday life.

Responsibilities
In this position, you will work as a needs assessment case worker under the Social Services Act within healthcare and social care.
The work involves receiving applications, investigating, assessing, and making decisions in accordance with current legislation, current legal status, and established goals. Working for a public authority means that all cases must be handled in a legally secure manner and with high quality.
Our target group includes adults of various ages, where a large part consists of people with care needs related to old age. We meet people with varying conditions, from those needing support and care in everyday life to those with more complex life situations.
The role also includes informing about the authority's mission, our interventions, current legislation, and the user's rights. You stay updated by searching for information on new court rulings and using legal databases to ensure that the case handling follows the current legal status.

Qualifications and Merits
To be considered for employment, you must have a degree in social work (socionom) or another academic education that the employer deems equivalent.
You need to have good competence regarding legislation within the area of the Social Services Act. You also need a very good ability to express yourself clearly and structured in speech and writing in Swedish.
We consider it meritorious if you have work experience in exercising authority within the Social Services Act.
As a person, you are positive, secure, stable, and thrive in an independent role. We are looking for someone who is engaged and solution-focused with the ability to think innovatively. You need to be structured and have a good ability to organize and prioritize your work in a productive manner. As a case worker, you are in constant contact with other collaboration partners, and it is required that you have good collaboration skills and a knowledgeable assessment approach. In addition, you need to see yourself as an outgoing person driven by making a difference for our citizens.
A driver's license is required.
