Part-time Care Teacher, Cultus Gymnasium in Uppsala

Cultus Gymnasium and International Gymnasium are two small-scale upper secondary schools that share school administration, premises, and staff. The schools offer the Healthcare and Care Program as well as the Social Sciences Program.

Our main employer is Folkuniversitetet – a study association that is non-partisan, non-religious, and free from profit motives. A team of approximately 20 people works at the schools to create the best possible conditions for student learning. You will collaborate closely with the school's three other experienced care teachers.

We are now looking for a teacher who wants to work part-time teaching the course Psychiatry 1.

Responsibilities

Teaching the course Psychiatry 1 for upper secondary students on the Healthcare and Care Program, as well as some other typical teaching duties.

Qualifications

We are looking for a person with good knowledge within healthcare and care.

You are welcome to be a teacher with experience teaching on the Healthcare and Care Program, but you can also be an experienced assistant nurse or nurse who is passionate about sharing your knowledge and experience. Or perhaps you are currently studying to become a care teacher and want to work extra during your studies.

Teaching certification and previous teaching experience are meritorious. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

• Have an easy time communicating and collaborating with young people and colleagues
• Have clear leadership in the classroom and an approach that aligns with the school's value base
• Have the ability to spark students' engagement and sense of responsibility

Type of Employment

• Substitute position for the academic year 2026/2027, starting in August
• The extent is 12%, equivalent to two lessons per week.
