Your Responsibilities

Ahead of the autumn term, we are looking for a Home and Consumer Studies teacher for a full-time position at an independent comprehensive school in Enköping. If you are a certified and qualified teacher in Home and Consumer Studies, there is an opportunity for a permanent position at the school. Otherwise, a fixed-term contract for one year will be considered. As a Home and Consumer Studies teacher, your role includes planning, teaching, and follow-up work. The role also involves evaluating and developing teaching in accordance with the curriculum and current regulatory documents.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are a certified and qualified teacher in Home and Consumer Studies. We also welcome you who have previous experience as an uncertified teacher, or who have good experience of the subject combined with strong pedagogical skills. You have good knowledge of the school's regulatory documents and the comprehensive school curriculum, and you master Swedish well in both speech and writing. We see that you have the students' and children's learning in focus and work to ensure they reach as far as possible in their knowledge development. Furthermore, we believe you have a solution-oriented mindset and an approach where everything is possible. You are inspiring and supportive in all aspects and strive for a good working environment at your workplace. If you have additional qualifications or experience working with children or young people, it is an advantage.
