Börje School (Grades F-6) currently has around 145 students. Of these, over 90 attend the after-school program. Börje School is located in a beautiful environment surrounded by fields and meadows, yet only 10 minutes by car from Uppsala city center. The school is characterized by a strong sense of community among both students and staff, where the work team plans and carries out many activities together. Mixed-age activities are a natural part of the teaching, and class sizes vary between 15 and 24 students.

Description of Duties

The job involves planning and implementing activities in our after-school program together with qualified colleagues and collaborating with class teachers regarding the students' school day. It also involves working with colleagues to develop our operations and ensuring meaningful content for the students' leisure time.

During school hours, you will support teaching teachers, for example by dividing classes or supporting students in the classroom. Planning time will be available based on needs and the schedule. Since you are qualified in a specific subject, you will likely teach in that subject.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a teaching license with qualification for the after-school program. You also have the qualification to teach music, physical education, art, or another subject. As a person, you are outgoing and social in your work. You easily establish contact with students, guardians, and colleagues. Regardless of the situation at work, you are calm and stable. You maintain a realistic perspective on different situations and focus on the right things. You often come up with ideas and new approaches to work-related issues. In your work, you have a forward-thinking mindset that can be put into practice and leads to great results.

Uppsala Municipality applies individual and differentiated salary setting according to the current collective agreement.

In your application, you must state your citizenship.
