At Gamla Uppsala Buss, you will have a varied and meaningful role where you lead, coach, and train our bus drivers. You will have great opportunities to influence both working methods and people's development – and you will do this together with an experienced and supportive team.

You don't need to know everything from the start – we provide you with a structured introduction and the right conditions to grow into the role.

About the role

You work together with 8 group manager colleagues and are jointly responsible for approximately 500 drivers. With the driver in focus, you are close to the operations and are a support in the daily work.

The role is varied and consists of three main parts:

Leadership

• Support and coach drivers in their daily work
• Conduct employee interviews and follow up on performance and well-being
• Handle occupational health and rehabilitation issues

Education

• Conduct training for prospective and existing drivers
• Teach theory (D-license and YKB)
• Carry out practical exercises such as practice driving

Development

• Contribute to improving routines and working methods
• Drive development initiatives in the operations

In your role as group manager, you have your closest work group of other group managers and also receive support from several parts of the operations, primarily from HR, traffic control, and personnel planning.

Who are you?

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Ability to lead or instruct others in work or education
• D-license for at least 5 years and YKB
• At least 3 years of documented experience as a bus driver or as a driving instructor for buses.
