Description of duties

As a teacher of mathematics and/or Natural Sciences (NO) and Technology at Palmbladsskolan, you will teach grades 6–9. You are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching in your subject in accordance with the curriculum and other governing documents. You also serve as a class mentor together with a colleague. You are part of work teams and subject teams and participate in the school's overall work. We strive for collegial learning where you, in close collaboration with your colleagues, develop the operations. Together, we work to ensure that all students thrive and develop based on their individual prerequisites. We are primarily seeking a candidate for full-time employment, but are open to part-time employment if desired.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have teacher certification with eligibility to teach mathematics, Natural Sciences (NO), and Technology in grades 6–9. You have good knowledge of the school's governing documents as well as the compulsory school curriculum. The position requires good oral and written skills in Swedish. IT skills with a focus on pedagogical work are meritorious.

The job suits you if you create good relationships with both students and colleagues through an attentive and respectful approach. You take time to listen and handle challenges and conflicts with confidence.
