About the clinics at Globen
The Psychiatric Specialist Clinic Globen 1 receives patients for psychiatric assessment, investigation, and treatment of depressive disorders and bipolar syndrome. The clinic has been given a broader mandate and shares premises with the Psychiatric Specialist Clinic Young Adults, under joint management, at Globen.
The Psychiatric Specialist Clinic Young Adults is a clinic that works across diagnoses with the investigation and treatment of young adults aged 18–23. We work based on regional care programs with a broad perspective. Collaboration with family, next of kin, as well as care partners, social services, job centers for young adults, and districts is of great importance. The clinic is HBTQI-certified.
We are organized into several multidisciplinary treatment teams consisting of doctors, psychologists, nurses, administrators, counselors, and rehab coordinators. Our clinics offer a broad and varied range of care services with different treatment methods.
Your work as a Medical Secretary
As a Medical Secretary, you are a very important part of the clinic. The work is independent and varied, and includes, among other things, reception duties, medical record writing, handling visit registration, and assisting with other administrative matters relevant to the clinic. Documentation takes place in the medical record system Take Care. You share these tasks with your colleagues, and the work is done in teams.
Our expectations of you
We are looking for you who are trained as a Medical Secretary with experience in clinic work.
- You have a good command of the Swedish language and possess good knowledge of medical terminology as well as good skills in TakeCare and the Microsoft Office suite.
- You feel confident in patient contact, both physically at the reception and over the phone.
- Experience working with local administrative systems such as EK is preferred.
- Previous experience in roles such as LSA or LOTS is meritorious.
- We would appreciate if you have experience working in psychiatric outpatient care.
To fit this role, you should:
- Have good collaboration skills and be receptive and flexible.
- Enjoy working independently in dialogue with other staff and contribute your knowledge and experience to provide patients with the best possible care and treatment.
- Be curious and able to meet people with varying moods and conditions.
- Be accustomed to working in a goal-oriented environment and have a good attitude towards both patients and colleagues.

The position is a permanent full-time employment, Monday–Friday 39.5 hours/week. Start date according to agreement.

In patient-facing roles within the Stockholm County Council (SLSO):
- A register check is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register checks upon employment.
- Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which is conducted through occupational health services before employment.
- Good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required, in addition to Swedish professional licensure. The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed staff with patient contact.
