We are now looking for an engaged and meticulous Economic Assistant for a role with significant responsibility and many points of contact.
About the company
Our client is an established group with offices in Västerort, Stockholm. The role is fully on-site, and you will work 5 days a week at the office. You will be part of a social and collaborative corporate culture where colleagues support each other and share a good sense of humor. They work in bright and fresh premises with a good working environment and offer free parking.
This is a temp-to-perm recruitment where you will be employed as a consultant through us during a probationary period, before transitioning to a permanent position with our client.
Your responsibilities
As an Economic Assistant with a focus on customer accounting, you play a central role in the company and are responsible for the entire flow related to the customer side. The role involves extensive contact with customers, where you handle inquiries regarding invoices and payments. You also collaborate closely with internal functions such as service and the sales organization, giving you a good understanding of the overall business.
Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:
- Invoicing
- Account reconciliations related to customer accounting
- Reminder management and handling of collection cases
- Administration of e-invoices
- Handling of credit notes, including reporting and reconciliation
- Credit assessments
- Investigation of irregular payments
Your profile
We are looking for someone who is confident in social situations and thrives with many points of contact in their work. You have a natural drive to reach out, ask questions, and ensure things are done correctly. Furthermore, you are service-oriented and outgoing, with the ability to understand both the customer's and the business's needs.
You are humble in your approach but dare to speak up when necessary. Additionally, you are unpretentious and have a flexible attitude – you are happy to step in where needed and contribute to the team's collective success.
Since the finance department works in several different business systems, you need to have a technical understanding of IT and the ability to handle multiple systems simultaneously.
Success factors
- Experience working in customer accounting or a similar economic role
- Strong communication skills and experience with customer contact
- Good knowledge of Excel and administrative precision
- Service-oriented, unpretentious, and proactive
- Good system proficiency and technical understanding
