The Resource Centre for Habilitation is a regional unit belonging to Habilitation & Health within Region Stockholm. Our premises are located at Sabbatsberg Hospital near Odenplan.
The Resource Centre for Habilitation provides interventions, courses, advice, and support to people with disabilities, their relatives and networks, as well as to professionals, based on various areas where the unit has specific competence. About the position
As an administrator, you provide qualified administrative support to the unit, including working with the organization's various systems such as the medical record system, personnel administration system, and accounting/invoicing system. You handle invitations, rescheduling, and other patient-related administration. You also provide administrative support to the unit manager and various teams/employees. You are responsible for professional reception, telephone, and functional mailbox interactions.
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements:
- Recent experience (within the last 5 years) of qualified administrative work within healthcare, habilitation, or other region- or authority-run operations.
- Experience working in the region's administrative systems such as Take Care, Heroma, Raindance, and Clockwork.
- Experience working independently and structured, taking responsibility for your tasks, making prioritizations, and making decisions within the scope of your assignment with good judgment.
- Very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish.
Experience working in Vårdportalen/Alltid Öppet and 1177 is considered meritorious.
About you
We are looking for you who have experience from independent administrative work, preferably within healthcare. You are accustomed to working in different systems and are open to learning new tasks.
You are often the first point of contact with our unit, which requires professional interaction and high service ability. You are sensitive and flexible in your contact with the patient and have the competence to assess which contacts need to be forwarded and to whom.
Since it is a varied job, you need to be structured and have good ability to plan and prioritize your work. You have the capacity to handle several parallel processes simultaneously and find it easy to shift focus between different tasks. You are also proactive and meticulous. To thrive with us, good teamwork skills are a prerequisite. Experience with the target group of habilitation is meritorious.
About the operations
Habilitation & Health is part of the Stockholm County Healthcare Services (SLSO) within Region Stockholm. We are a knowledge organization that conducts its own research and development and operates several specialized units. Our work is based on the value foundation of the equal value of all people and patient focus. We start from each individual's unique needs and conditions and have specialist knowledge about how disabilities can affect daily life, health, and development. We consist of approximately 700 employees and 30 clinics in Stockholm County. We collaborate with networks such as families, staff, and other healthcare providers to create greater participation in societal life.
The position is filled subject to it not needing to be taken for internal reassignment, according to current regulations.
In patient-facing work within Stockholm County Healthcare Services:
- Register control is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register control upon employment.
- Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new employment examination, according to current directives, which takes place through occupational health services before employment.
- Requires, in addition to Swedish professional licensure, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed staff with patient contact.
