We are looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator for a consultancy assignment with a government agency located in Norrköping. During the first month, the work is performed on-site. Thereafter, there is an opportunity for remote work 1–2 days per week, depending on the business's needs.
- Scope: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Assignment start: Preliminarily October 1, 2026.
- Contract duration: 2 years with the possibility of extension up to a total of 4 years.
- Location: Norrköping.
About the assignment
You will be part of a payroll office responsible for the entire payroll process and providing support to the organization's employees on matters regarding salary and benefits. The assignment involves working through the entire payroll process up to payroll run and implies close collaboration with colleagues within HR and Finance.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities include, among other things:
- Processing and controlling payroll data
- Handling expense reports, out-of-pocket expenses, advances, and corrections
- Registering leave, benefits, and other payroll-related events
- Generating payroll lists, reports, and statistics
- Reporting taxes and employer contributions
- Compiling time and absence reports
- Supporting employees on matters regarding salary, vacation, and benefits
- Calculations, checks, and corrections
- System administration in payroll and financial systems
- Daily planning and leadership when needed
Qualifications
You are meticulous, structured, and service-oriented. You thrive working independently while appreciating close collaboration with colleagues. You have a quality-conscious work approach and are accustomed to handling several parallel tasks in an operation with high demands for accuracy.
- Vocational upper secondary education or equivalent training in payroll.
- At least three (3) years of experience as a payroll administrator.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Experience working in payroll systems.
- Experience with financial systems.
- Good knowledge of collective agreements.
- Very good ability to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
- It is meritorious if you have experience with the payroll system Personec P.
