As a Payroll Administrator, you will become an important part of the payroll office and be responsible for ensuring correct and efficient payroll processing. You will work closely with colleagues in payroll and HR, and serve as a support to the company's employees regarding payroll-related matters.
The role involves handling the entire payroll process up to payroll execution and suits you if you enjoy administration, problem-solving, and providing service to internal customers.
Your main responsibilities:
- Process and verify payroll data.
- Handle expense reports, reimbursements, and advances.
- Administer leave, absence, benefits, and certificates.
- Perform payroll-related corrections and calculations.
- Compile time and absence reports.
- Generate payroll lists, reports, and statistics.
- Report taxes and employer contributions.
- Answer employee questions regarding salary, vacation, and other compensation.
- Ensure that routines, controls, and processes are followed.
You will work in a team with other Payroll Specialists and Payroll Administrators where collaboration, quality, and service are in focus.
Who we are looking forWe are looking for you who have a few years of experience in payroll administration and feel confident in the entire payroll process. You work in a structured manner, have a good understanding of collective agreements, and are accustomed to handling multiple cases in parallel without compromising on quality.
To succeed in the role, we believe you are meticulous, responsible, and have a professional attitude. You thrive in a service-oriented role where you can combine administration with contact with employees and internal stakeholders.
We would like you to have:
- Vocational upper secondary education in payroll or equivalent.
- At least three years of experience working as a Payroll Administrator.
- Good knowledge of payroll systems.
- Good knowledge of accounting systems.
- Good understanding of collective agreements.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Very good ability to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
Other requirements:
- A reference must be provided from one (1) assignment carried out within the last five (5) years, where you have worked for at least one (1) year as a payroll administrator, payroll specialist, or equivalent role in payroll.
- Interview with our client: You need to be available for an interview via Skype on August 21, 2026.

About the employmentThis is a long-term consulting assignment where you will be employed as a consultant by OIO. The assignment is initially for two years, with the possibility of extension for up to two additional years.
Terms of employment & benefits:
- Start: October 1, 2026.
- Scope: Full-time.
- Location: Norrköping.
- Assignment duration: October 2028 (2 years), with the possibility of extension for another 2 years.
- Work model: During the assignment, the need to work on-site at the office in Norrköping will vary. The first month requires 100% on-site presence, after which there is an opportunity to work remotely approx. one (1) to two (2) days a week if the work allows.
- Compensation: Fixed monthly salary.
