Job Description

The position is primarily linked to the research project BIOCO2PRO and involves the planning, execution, and evaluation of experiments within biological and chemical process technology. The focus is on developing circular processes for lithium recovery as well as the production of organic acids, hydrogen, and lithium carbonate from biogenic and recycled raw materials.

Duties include laboratory and pilot-scale experiments, chemical and microbiological analyses, processing and reporting of research results, participation in scientific publications, and collaboration with the project's academic and industrial partners.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with a Master's degree in resource management or a related field who has been admitted to doctoral studies in resource recovery. You should have documented experience in experimental research, good knowledge of process technology, chemical analysis, and data evaluation, as well as experience in scientific writing and publishing.

You must have excellent oral and written communication skills in English, and the ability to work independently, interdisciplinarily, and in international research environments.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability, teamwork skills, and the ability to drive research forward.

Employment Type: Fixed-term appointment until 2026-02-23

Full-time equivalent: 100%
