Sörgården Montessori Preschool is an independent Montessori preschool located in the scenic area of Solberga, just outside Kode. Here we offer a safe, family-like, and inspiring environment where children's curiosity, creativity, and independence are allowed to develop every day.

Our unique rural location gives us fantastic opportunities to use nature as a natural part of the teaching. Forests, meadows, and wildlife become part of the children's daily lives and pedagogical work. Here, children get to explore, discover, and learn through real experiences, where sustainable development, care for nature, and respect for all living things permeate the operations.

We work based on the fundamental principles of Montessori pedagogy together with the Swedish National Curriculum for the Preschool (Lpfö 18), where well-thought-out learning environments, children's participation, and the joy of learning are at the center.

About the Role

As a licensed preschool teacher, you have a special responsibility for the teaching and lead the pedagogical work together with your colleagues. Among other things, you will:

• Plan, implement, document, and follow up on teaching according to Lpfö 18.
• Develop inspiring and accessible learning environments.
• Work based on the methods of Montessori pedagogy.
• Use nature as a natural part of the teaching.
• Lead the pedagogical development work together with the team.
• Create good relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues.
• Participate actively in systematic quality work.

We are looking for you who

• Are a licensed preschool teacher.
• Have a genuine commitment to children's development and learning.
• Are confident in your pedagogical leadership.
• See opportunities in using nature as a learning environment.
• Are positive, responsible, and solution-oriented.
• Have good collaboration skills.
• Master Swedish well in speech and writing.

Experience with Montessori pedagogy is an advantage, but the most important thing is that you share our view on children and learning and have a desire to develop together with us.
