Teacher for Special Education Group at Rydsbergsskolan in Lerum

About Rydsbergsskolan
Those of us who work at Rydsbergsskolan work daily according to the motto "I want it to go well for you." This applies primarily to our relationship with our students, but also to how we treat each other as staff. Rydsbergsskolan is a school you will want to work at for many years! We have teachers with high competence, we have well-functioning structures and routines, supportive leadership, and we work to continuously develop together.
Rydsbergsskolan has been selected as a practice school for the University of Gothenburg, which means we host many student teachers who complete their practicum with our skilled teachers. Our contact with the university helps our school keep up with the latest school research.
We work to adapt all teaching for students with Neurodevelopmental Disorders (NPF) and have a well-functioning system to help students in need of support (flex units). Additionally, we have a special education group, focusing on attendance promotion and psychosocial pedagogical work, which is where this position is located.
We have an increased basic staffing level so that we do not hire external substitutes, which means students only meet staff with whom they have a relationship.
We provide our students with extra movement that benefits their health and improves their ability to learn.
Rydsbergsskolan offers education in grades 6–9 and is located in Lerum. The school has approximately 450 students distributed across four work teams.

Job Responsibilities
You will be an important puzzle piece in the work to provide our students with high-quality and inclusive education. We believe in our students and know the difference good teaching and respectful treatment make.
We are now looking for you who will work in our special education group, with a focus on attendance promotion and psychosocial pedagogical work.
With us, you are offered a varied job where you will be responsible for planning, implementation, and evaluation of lessons. Together with your colleagues, you will design a developmental, secure, joyful, and varied school day with the students' best interests in focus.
At Rydsbergsskolan, you will work in work teams and subject teams with highly competent colleagues and in close collaboration with our strong student health team, so that together and in good cooperation with guardians, we can make a difference for all students.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a qualified teacher for teaching in our special education group. We would like you to have a few years of teaching experience, but this is not a requirement for the position.
We are looking for you who have a positive attitude and good subject knowledge. You are flexible regarding all daily and long-term changes that are part of the pedagogical work. You have good cooperation skills and are good at building relationships. To motivate, inspire, and challenge the students, you need the ability to show warmth and set boundaries.
If you are a teacher with great commitment and a desire to help develop the school's operations, we believe you are suitable for the assignment. If you also have a good ability to clarify what goals the education has and see each student's opportunities to reach them, we look forward to your application.
