Description

At Ulvegärde Preschool, you will have the opportunity to work together with colleagues and contribute to laying a good foundation for the children's lifelong learning. Together, we create a fun and educational environment for teaching and learning.

We work with a common fairy tale each school year. This year, we are focusing on "When Mamma Mu Met the Crow for the First Time." Through this collaborative work, we share knowledge and ideas, which contributes to equal, fun, and educational teaching. The children experience theater, music, and movement based on the fairy tale.

Our yard is large and offers varied learning environments with integrated forest areas. Our focus area is learning through play and language-developing methods. We strive to offer all children an accessible learning environment and use clarifying pedagogy. This autumn, we continue to develop our work based on the revised curriculum 2025.

In Kungälv's preschools, we have joint competence development, and currently, there are initiatives within the area of Learning Play. Kungälv Municipality also offers pedagogical lunch and a fitness allowance.

Responsibilities

As a Preschool Teacher, you are responsible for ensuring that education and teaching are well anchored in the steering documents for preschool. You plan, implement, analyze, and develop systematic quality work.

You lead development forward and ensure that children are offered secure care as well as fun and educational teaching of high quality. At our preschool, we work in teams and collaborate with colleagues, other partners, and guardians.

The position involves taking initiative, working independently, and being able to lead a small group of children alone. We value that you see opportunities, are empathetic and creative, have a holistic perspective, and can make decisions when necessary.

Qualifications

• Preschool Teacher certification.
• Good language skills in Swedish.
• Knowledge of digitalization as part of the assignment.
• Knowledge of clarifying pedagogy, such as PECS (TAKK) and visual supports.
