About the Position

Stavreskolan is a comprehensive school (grades 1-9) located in the eastern part of Trollhättan. The school has approximately 450 students and is divided into two units: grades 1-3 and grades 4-9. We are currently looking for a special needs educator who wants to work closely with students, guardians, teachers, the student health team, and the principal on pedagogical and organizational matters.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a special needs educator interested in working with school development and increasing goal achievement for our students. In this role, you are expected to have a consultative and supervisory role towards teachers and, in close collaboration with the principal, drive development work at the school unit.

Together with a colleague, you are responsible for the school's work with special support. This involves actively working with support for students in need, as well as handling administrative tasks regarding investigations and follow-up of action plans. We are looking for someone who enjoys working together with other professions but also has a strong ability to take personal responsibility and work independently.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed special needs educator. As a person, you are creative and solution-focused. You are calm and confident in yourself and thrive in creating a good collaboration climate with students, staff, and guardians. We place great emphasis on your previous experience and personal suitability.
