About the Role

Stavreskolan is a comprehensive school (Grades F-9) located in the eastern part of Trollhättan. The school has approximately 450 students and is divided into two units: Grades F-3 and 4–9. We are currently looking for a qualified PE teacher with the competence to teach in grades 4–9.

Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who focuses on students' knowledge development and employs cross-curricular thinking in their teaching. You will be responsible for parts of the Physical Education (PE) curriculum for grades 4–9. The position includes mentoring duties and other tasks inherent to the role of a teacher.

You are responsible for planning, implementation, and follow-up. You take responsibility for working systematically with extra adaptations and design your teaching based on the needs of the student group. You continuously evaluate and adjust your teaching based on student progression. In your work, you utilize the various professions within the organization and collaborate for the benefit of the students.

The employment requires your ability to work closely with your colleagues for the grade level and to work together to increase goal achievement and provide a sense of security.

Teaching for grades 4-6 takes place in the school's own sports hall. Grades 7-9 have their lessons at Älvhögsborg.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed teacher in Physical Education. As a person, you are driven, flexible, and solution-focused. You are calm and confident in yourself and enjoy creating a good collaborative climate with colleagues, students, and guardians. You understand and respect the importance of good relationships with students and are responsible for creating teaching that engages and contributes to students' desire to learn.
