Your Role

We are looking for a System Administrator and Application Specialist! Are you detail-oriented and enjoy working with databases, application servers, and handling large amounts of data? Do you get inspired by challenging problem-solving, have your own drive, and want to work with advanced technical information applications? Then you are the person we want to hire!

In the administration of technical information systems, you act as the link between IT, the system supplier, and the users. You will work with the entire maintenance chain – from development and configuration to updates and support.

The role involves ensuring that our system solutions function efficiently and develop in the right direction. You will work closely with other technology-interested colleagues and have the opportunity to influence working methods and adapt the role to your own interests and competencies.

As part of the Technical Information Processes & Tools area, which consists of approximately 40 employees, you will contribute to developing more efficient information solutions as well as automated and improved methods for producing technical information.

We continuously work on improvements, competence development, and strategic initiatives to shape an efficient and innovative work environment. Your Profile

To thrive in this role, we believe you are a solution-oriented and self-motivated person with a strong interest in technical problem-solving. You have experience in programming and database management, particularly in SQL, and have an eye for detail.

We believe you have your own drive, enjoy working independently, and are accustomed to taking initiative to solve technical challenges. You also have the ability to build good relationships with users to understand their needs and deliver the right solutions.

We see that you have:

• Education in computer science, systems science, or cognitive science, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of XML, XSLT, and Oracle.

Meritorious:

• Knowledge and experience of technical information and/or system development.
• Experience with requirements specification, debugging, and problem-solving.

The position requires that you undergo and pass the security clearance checks according to current regulations. For positions where Saab requires security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
