Do you want to work at the intersection of software, systems, and hardware, and help develop solutions that enable testing of advanced camera and radar systems in the automotive industry?
As a Software Engineer, you will play a central role in developing software platforms and tools for testing, validation, and analysis in both local and global projects. You will work closely with teams within development, testing, and systems to create efficient and reliable solutions.
You will be involved in the entire development cycle – from requirements management and system understanding to implementation and verification. This means you will work with receiving, analyzing, and managing system requirements, ensuring they are translated into functional software solutions. You will develop and test solutions and ensure they meet both functional and technical requirements. By taking a holistic view of the system, you contribute to driving the work forward and ensuring stable and well-functioning solutions.
You work in agile teams and collaborate in a global context, where you have daily contact with colleagues in different functions and parts of the organization. Through close collaboration across geographical and organizational boundaries, you contribute to knowledge sharing, progress, and a joint delivery of high quality.
In this role, you will:
- Develop and improve software for testing, analysis, and control, including applications, scripts (Python/Lua), and user interfaces
- Analyze data, logs, and test results to identify areas for improvement
- Troubleshoot systems and communication, and analyze root causes in HW/SW integrations (e.g., CAN, Ethernet, ECU, GMSL)
- Support projects, DV/PV, and production with technical solutions and analyses
- Actively contribute to improved quality, stability, and efficiency in tools and processes
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have a few years of experience and want to develop within software development with a focus on testing and verification, in an environment where you get to build a broad system understanding – not just write code.
You are an engaged team player with technical competence and good analytical skills, as well as a clear interest in software, troubleshooting, and quality assurance.
You work in a structured manner with high presence in the daily work, and collaborate closely with the on-site team to ensure high quality in our products and in the development of our solutions and processes.
In your work, you analyze problems, identify root causes, and contribute to improvements in how we develop, test, and verify our systems. You communicate clearly and thrive in an environment where you get to work with complex technical challenges together with others.
To succeed in the role, we see that you have:
- A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or similar
- 2–4 years of experience in requirements management/software development
- Experience working in teams, preferably in agile environments
- Good understanding of programming and software design
- Programming skills in, for example, Python, Lua, C, or similar
- Good proficiency in Swedish and English
Meritorious
- Knowledge within automotive and communication (e.g., CAN, Ethernet, Autosar)
- Basic knowledge within embedded systems
- Experience with test automation or similar technical environments
With us, you will work at the intersection of software, system understanding, and technology-oriented problem solving. You will become part of the development of tools and platforms that ensure the quality of our products.
You will work closely with an experienced and engaged team with high-tech competence, where presence, collaboration, and knowledge sharing are a natural part of everyday life. Here you get good opportunities to develop, take responsibility, and influence both technical solutions and working methods.
