Your Role

As a Systems and Software Engineer at Saab, you will work in a competent team and help develop advanced defense systems for fighter aircraft. You will have the opportunity to participate in the entire development chain, from requirements definition together with customers and pilots to the design and implementation of subsystems that contribute to the aircraft's tactical capability.

Your work takes place in close collaboration with other teams within an agile Scrum team, where software development is carried out using modern tools such as C++, CLion, and Git. You will be involved in testing functions in simulators and rigs to ensure that the software functions correctly when the aircraft is ready for missions.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who:

• Are a university or college engineer with a background in software development from your studies and previous work.
• Have experience in systems and software work, preferably with a focus on hardware-near system development or pure software development.
• Are comfortable working with modern tools and programming languages such as C++ (experience with other languages and tools is an advantage).
• Are interested in creating efficient and reliable solutions in collaboration with others.

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to the current regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security clearance, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
