Your Role

We are looking for an IT Specialist who wants to take on a central role in the administration, support, and development of our CAD and PDM environment. This role acts as the link between the business operations, IT, and external vendors, ensuring that our solutions for design and product data are stable, secure, and tailored to the needs of the business.

You will work with the administration and management of Autodesk Vault and serve as IT's specialist within the CAD/PDM area. The role involves close collaboration with the business's super users and system owners to ensure a stable, secure, and efficient platform. The position combines technical management, advisory services, and development, with a focus on ensuring that the platform meets the business's needs both today and in the long term.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer Autodesk Vault and associated CAD applications.
• Act as IT's specialist and contact person within the CAD/PDM area, focusing on Autodesk products.
• Provide IT support to super users and within Autodesk Vault, Inventor, and AutoCAD.
• Function as the escalation level for complex incidents and issues within the CAD/PDM platform.
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and coordinate solutions for incidents and problems in the CAD/PDM environment.
• Participate in upgrades, change initiatives, and further development of systems and processes.
• Collaborate with the business, the IT department, and external vendors.
• Ensure documentation, routines, and management processes within the area.
• Contribute to the development of integrations and information flows between CAD/PDM systems and other business systems.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who:

• Has broad general IT competence.
• Has experience in system administration, application management, or technical IT support.
• Has experience with or a good understanding of Autodesk Vault or other PDM/PLM systems.
• Has knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Inventor.
• Understands how CAD and PDM systems are used in the business and can translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Has a structured working method and good analytical skills.
• Is service-oriented and communicates easily with both business representatives and technical specialists.
• Enjoys combining technology, administration, support, and improvement work.

Merits

• Experience in the management and administration of Autodesk Vault.
• Experience with CAD/PDM environments in the manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of identity and access management.
• Experience with integrations between CAD/PDM, ERP, and other business systems.
• Experience with databases, automation, or scripting.
• Knowledge of document control, file management, and revision management.
• Experience with ITIL or other established management processes.
