Are you our new Project Manager with a focus on system development and system management in critical infrastructure? Do you want to work with technology that truly makes a difference – and at the same time ensure that Linköping gets electricity, heating, cooling, and clean drinking water? Are you an engaged and responsive person with the drive to coordinate, develop, and manage system solutions that contribute to our vision – to create a society that holds up for everyday life and tomorrow? Then this position is for you!

Here, you will become part of the OT and Automation (Operational Technology) department, which consists of an engaged and knowledgeable team working to develop and manage the control systems that keep our production facilities running – from water and wastewater treatment plants to combined heat and power plants and cooling centers. Together, we work strategically and operationally to ensure availability and operational safety in our infrastructure.

Here you will have a varied daily routine where the focus shifts between project management and system management for our control systems (OT systems). During some periods, you will drive development and change projects, while others you will focus on further developing and managing our OT systems, which are crucial for our facilities to function safely and stably every day. You do not need to be a specialist in every system, but you have a technical interest and want to understand how technology and operations are connected. Together with colleagues and suppliers, you contribute to safe, stable, and future-proof OT solutions.

You work at the intersection of technology and operations, focusing on creating structure in the management of our OT systems and strengthening operational safety, availability, and long-term sustainability. In close collaboration with object specialists and operations, you identify needs for changes and investments in both the short and long term. By working according to the management model pm3, you contribute with structure, problem-solving, and a responsive approach to develop sustainable solutions together with both operations and external suppliers.

Here you get to combine system management and project management because these parts are closely linked here. You get the opportunity to both understand the needs over time and be involved in driving the concrete changes required to develop our OT solutions.

Are you the one we are looking for? You are a structured and solution-oriented person who likes to take initiative and see opportunities in changes. You are good at planning, adapting to new situations, and tackling challenges with engagement and an analytical mindset. You communicate clearly and build good relationships – both internally and externally. We value your willingness to develop, learn new things, and contribute new perspectives that strengthen the team.

We see that you have:

  • Post-secondary education with a technical focus (e.g., engineering degree) or equivalent experience assessed as comparable.
  • Experience in coordinating, leading, or driving technical activities, projects, or improvement work.
  • Category B driver's license.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

It is meritorious if you have:

  • Experience and understanding of the industrial process and its dependencies on integrated OT systems/control systems.
  • Project management training.
  • Some knowledge of control systems.

The department has made an exciting journey! With new areas of responsibility, we have moved forward and expanded with several new roles. Now we are looking for you who want to help shape the future – whether you are at the beginning of your career or have longer experience in your bag.

Here you will become part of a competent team where we have fun together, share knowledge, and support each other every day. Here you get to both influence and develop – in an environment where we believe in the power of building together!
