About Nexer Engineering in Linköping

Within the business area Nexer Engineering, we collaborate with leading companies where our primary focus is on assignments within, among other things, the defense sector and the manufacturing industry. We cover competence areas ranging from system development and embedded systems to quality, mechanics – and of course, strategic purchasing for technology-intensive customers.

We are now looking for a systems engineer with an interest in advanced technology and complex systems for an exciting assignment within the defense industry. Here you will have the opportunity to work with technically leading systems and contribute to the development of future defense capabilities.

In the role of systems engineer, you will become an important part of the work with the control system's hardware throughout its entire lifecycle – from early concepts and development to verification, operation, and finally decommissioning. You have a central role where you are responsible for ensuring that the system's different parts interact in an efficient and reliable manner.

Your tasks include, among other things, requirements management, system architecture, and coordination of interfaces between mechanics, electronics, software, and system level. You also work with technical analyses, verification, and documentation, and contribute practically to production, integration, and testing. The role involves close collaboration with other subsystems, suppliers, and customers, where you drive several parallel activities and technical assignments while maintaining the overall perspective.

For those who want to work with electronics, there is an opportunity to focus on the electronic parts of the control system. The work includes, among other things, control system computers, analog electronics, gyroscopes, accelerometers, and other electronic subsystems.

Requirements for the position:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in electronics, mechanical engineering, or another relevant technical field
• A few years of experience from technically qualified roles
• A genuine interest in complex and technically advanced systems
• Good teamwork skills and experience working with several different technical areas
• A structured approach to work and a willingness to take technical responsibility
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English
• Swedish citizenship

It is meritorious if you have

• Experience with analog electronics
• Experience with embedded systems
• Knowledge in modeling and control of systems
• Experience with safety-critical systems
• Experience from the defense industry or other high-tech development activities
