To Aeronautics business area Advanced Programs, we are now looking for a Configuration Manager for the Systems Engineering Management section. We are shaping the fighter aircraft systems of the future where autonomous platforms, sensors, and decision-making functions collaborate – and we need you to ensure that we manage current configuration handling while finding future ways of working.

Your Role

The Configuration Manager role involves managing our products from a configuration perspective in the usual manner. Currently, we handle flying demonstrators, but the capability is to be developed towards managing complex, serial-produced products. As a Configuration Manager here, you participate in the development of new ways of working, methods, and tools to build this capability together with stakeholders, system administration, and the section manager.

The Systems Engineering Management section is primarily responsible for the System Engineering capability, in close collaboration with others within the development department. An important part of our work in future fighter aircraft is to create purposeful and efficient methods and ways of working, which is part of this section's task.

Your Profile

The profile we are looking for:

• Has experience in configuration management and change management.
• Is communicative and oriented towards broad collaborations. We will tackle this together!
• Has the ability to adapt to change and think innovatively.
• Communicates effectively in Swedish and English.

It is meritorious if you also:

• Have experience with Siemens tools for configuration management.
• Have experience with other integrated systems for configuration management.

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to current regulations for security clearance. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for specific citizenship.
