At Labatus, we are now looking for more test developers with experience in embedded systems, test automation, and system-near development. With us, you will work in sharp product development projects – often in technology-intensive environments where quality, safety, and robustness are crucial.

Working with test development at Labatus

As a test developer at Labatus, you work on assignments where you are a key person in ensuring functionality, stability, and quality in advanced products and systems. Depending on the assignment, you might work with:

• Development of automated tests (e.g., HIL, integration, or system testing)
• Analysis and troubleshooting of test results
• Development and improvement of test systems and test environments
• Test strategy and method development
• Close collaboration with development teams within embedded and software
• CI/CD and continuous quality assurance

Many of our assignments are product-near and involve embedded systems, real-time systems, and communication between hardware and software.

Since many of our partners where assignments are current operate in areas requiring security clearance, such as the defense industry, security clearance may become relevant during the recruitment process.

Technology and Tools

We match you with assignments where your skills make a difference. Common technologies and environments include:

• C / C++
• Python
• Test automation and test frameworks
• HIL environments
• CAN, communication protocols, and system integration
• CI/CD flows

Experience with tools such as CAPL, Vector tools, or similar test systems is advantageous – but most important is your understanding of systems, quality, and structure.

Who we think you are

We are looking for someone who:

• Has at least 1–2 years of experience in test development or software development
• Has worked with automated tests
• Is accustomed to working in a structured and methodical manner
• Has a genuine interest in embedded systems and technical problem solving
• Thrives in teams and enjoys close collaboration with developers
• Communicates fluently in Swedish and English

You don't need to know everything – but you should be confident in your technical foundation and willing to continue developing.
