Your role

We are strengthening our avionics team with a Hardware Engineer. Here, you work with advanced avionics computers, taking responsibility throughout the entire lifecycle, from requirements definition and development to flight verification. The avionics computers are central to the aircraft, supporting both basic functions and advanced tactical systems. In this role, you will gain a deep understanding of the avionics computers' functions and their integration into the aircraft.

In this role, you will focus on:

• Responsibility for avionics computers (technical content, function, and performance)
• Maintenance, management, and further development of existing systems
• Requirements management, verification, and troubleshooting
• Managing and documenting changes to ensure traceability and airworthiness
• Close collaboration with software and systems engineers, suppliers, and production

Your profile

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with complex systems
• Drives their work forward in a structured and independent manner
• Thrives in collaboration and contributes actively in teams where you solve complex technical challenges together
• Has a relevant higher education degree, for example in data, systems, or electrical engineering, or equivalent experience
• Communicates well in both Swedish and English, orally and in writing

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to current security clearance regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
