At our company, you will work with methodology, tools, and processes for flight-critical software for the Gripen, gaining a unique insight into the entire development chain. We warmly welcome your application!
You will gain a unique holistic understanding of the Gripen's software development and work closely with the entire chain - from requirements, development, and testing to the verification of flight software.
Here, you will become part of the team developing flight-critical processes, tools, and methodology for the Gripen's advanced avionics systems. The role combines technical development with methodology and process work, where you contribute to how the Gripen's flight-critical software is developed, tested, and quality assured. Few roles offer the same opportunity to influence how flight-critical software is developed - from requirements and methodology to verified software in flying systems.
The role is fundamentally a software process engineering role with a focus on flight-critical development. You will work broadly and variably, with examples including:
We work according to RTCA DO-178C using tools such as Simulink, C++, and Python.
You will become part of a team where everyone contributes their competence and experience based on interest and strengths. Here, we have both junior and senior developers and technical leaders - you will therefore receive strong support in your development regardless of where you are in your career. The role is broad and offers the opportunity to deepen your expertise in areas such as methodology development, test tools, modeling, software architecture, or technical leadership over time.
The Avionics Systems EF area currently consists of approximately 100 employees who value knowledge sharing and collaboration to succeed together. Our common task is to further develop advanced avionics systems that meet the requirements for future flying combat platforms.
We are looking for you who are driven by development, learning new things, and contributing where it is needed most. Here, there are many possible directions - whether you are passionate about process development, software architecture, test tools, Simulink modeling, or technical leadership.
We are looking for you with a technical university degree, for example as an engineer, or equivalent experience that gives you a good foundation to understand and work with software development in complex systems. We believe you thrive in complex technical environments where quality, structure, and collaboration are crucial. You are curious, like to understand systems in depth, and are driven by improving methods and technical solutions together with others.
We hire you based on who you are, your willingness to learn, and your ability to contribute - whether you are a recent graduate or experienced.
