About the role

Knowit Cybersecurity & Law is the most exciting specialist company in the Nordics within IT and information security as well as digitalization law. Here, you will become part of a national team of 150 dedicated security specialists. As a consultant at Knowit in Linköping, you will have the opportunity to work with everything from large government agencies to innovative private companies in sectors such as energy, healthcare, and finance. You will join the Nordic IT security team, which currently consists of 14 people. You will also work cross-border together with colleagues within information security, law, and security protection. This gives you the opportunity to develop by learning from others. Responsibilities

In the role of senior pentester, you have significant responsibility. You drive your assignments independently – from initial customer contact to final reporting. Your tasks will include, among other things:

• Plan and conduct technical penetration tests in complex customer environments.
• Work according to established methods such as PTES and OWASP WSTG.
• Analyze vulnerabilities and package conclusions in clear reports.
• Present analyses and provide strategic advice to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Contribute to the development of Knowit's service offering within IT security.

We are looking for you who

• Have at least 1–2 years of work experience in technical security testing (pentesting).
• Hold a relevant university degree or equivalent knowledge acquired through experience.
• Have a strong inner drive and thrive combining deep technical skills with a consultative approach.
• Have documented experience in independently planning and executing tests according to established methods.
• Have very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in both Swedish and English, as report writing is a central part of the role.

It is an advantage if you have

• Certifications such as OSCP, GPEN, GWAPT, or eCPPT.
• Experience working with security-sensitive operations.

For this role, it is an advantage to have Swedish citizenship, as many of the clients are subject to the Security Protection Act.
