About the role

You will step into a central role in a managed asset where HR and financial systems are maintained and further developed within a complex public sector environment. Here, you will work closely with both operations and IT, responsible for creating structure, progress, and collaboration between several stakeholders. The role spans strategic, tactical, and operational issues, making it a perfect fit for you who thrive on setting direction while ensuring daily operations run smoothly.

You will become a key link between asset management, steering groups, projects, and external parties. At the same time, you will contribute to developing working methods, keeping planning cohesive, and ensuring that important IT components support the organization's needs over time. This is a role for you who want to combine governance, coordination, and practical implementation in an environment where well-functioning systems make a real difference.

Responsibilities
  • You lead the management of the asset's IT components according to PM3.
  • You drive ongoing work with cases and assignments related to the managed asset.
  • You plan, lead, and follow up on activities within both management and projects.
  • You lead and moderate asset management group meetings together with the organization's asset managers.
  • You report status, progress, and relevant issues to steering groups and other stakeholders.
  • You work with budget planning, financial follow-up, accounting, and invoice review.
  • You collaborate with internal and external actors to ensure efficient management and continued development.
  • You support ongoing projects and plan the handover from project to management.
  • You keep the asset management plan updated and relevant based on the needs of the organization and IT.
  • You ensure that system diagrams, integration documentation, and technical documentation are kept current.
  • You develop solution proposals, requirement specifications, as well as process and routine descriptions.
Requirements
  • 6 years of work experience in the role of IT Asset Manager according to PM3.
  • 6 years of work experience in working with budgets and financial follow-up.
  • 6 years of work experience in project management and leadership.
  • University education with a focus on IT or equivalent.
  • Certification within PM3 or equivalent asset governance model.
Merits
  • 4 years of work experience working with financial or HR systems.
  • 4 years of work experience working in larger organizations with more than 1000 employees.
  • 4 years of work experience working within a government agency.
