Do you want to work on the development of complex systems at the forefront of technology? We are now looking for several software developers for a long-term consulting assignment with our client in Linköping. Here you will have the opportunity to work in a high-tech environment where software is a central part of the products' functionality and performance.

We are looking for both those at consultant level 3 and those with more senior experience at consultant level 4. Regardless of level, you are offered a technically stimulating role with great opportunities to develop alongside some of the industry's leading specialists.

About the assignment

As a software developer, you will become part of a competent and cross-functional development team that works through the entire development process – from early concept studies and requirements work to implementation, testing, and verification.

You will collaborate closely with system engineers, architects, test engineers, and other developers to create robust and future-proof solutions in technically advanced systems.

The work is conducted according to modern development methods and includes both new development and further development of existing solutions.

Examples of tasks

• Develop new software features and system solutions
• Design, implement, and maintain software
• Develop and further develop configuration and support systems
• Participate in system design and software architecture
• Perform software tests and verification
• Work with system tests in advanced simulation and test environments
• Troubleshoot and analyze technical problems
• Collaborate with other development teams regarding integration and design issues
• Contribute to improvements in development processes, tools, and working methods

We are looking for someone who has

• Consultant level 3 or 4
• Experience in software development
• Good ability to work both independently and in a team
• Good communication skills
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Swedish citizenship
• Ability to undergo and pass a security clearance according to current security protection requirements

Meritorious experience

• University or college education in computer science, electrical engineering, systems science, or equivalent
• Programming in C++, C#, Python, or Java
• Experience with Git or Bitbucket
• Experience with Jira and Confluence
• Work with complex, distributed, or safety-critical systems
• Experience with system design, software architecture, or testing and verification
• Experience with agile development methods
