IT Governance Manager focused on Business Development and Control

We are now looking for a senior IT Governance Manager for an exciting consulting assignment with a public sector organization. The employment is through a staffing agency, and the assignment offers a combination of strategic, tactical, and operational work in a complex and socially important environment.

You will work with the governance of HR and financial systems, as well as coordinate and develop IT components within a larger governance object.

Your Responsibilities

As an IT Governance Manager, you will among other things:

• Be responsible for the governance of included IT components within the governance object.
• Lead and moderate regular governance meetings together with representatives from the business.
• Report status, risks, and development needs to steering groups.
• Work with budget planning, financial follow-up, and cost control.
• Collaborate with internal and external actors to ensure efficient and long-term governance.
• Participate in projects and plan the handover from project to governance.
• Create, update, and manage governance plans.
• Ensure that system diagrams, integrations, and technical documentation are kept up to date.
• Develop solution proposals and requirement specifications based on business needs.
• Develop and update processes, routines, and working methods.
• Work with accounting and invoice verification.

We are looking for someone who has

• At least six years of experience as an IT Governance Manager according to the PM3 model.
• At least six years of experience in budget work and financial follow-up.
• At least six years of experience in project management and leadership.
• An academic education in IT or equivalent competence.
• Certification in PM3 or another equivalent governance control model.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both in speech and writing.

Meritorious

• At least four years of experience working with financial or HR systems.
• Experience working in larger organizations with more than 1,000 employees.
• Experience from the public sector or state operations.
